Scheduling and Registration
Student registration (course selection) is one of the most important student activities at Duluth East High School. Registering for courses is a coordinated effort requiring the cooperative efforts of teachers/advisors, administrators, students, parents and guidance personnel. The registration process is closely linked to the planning and consultation that goes with the Guidance Program. During the month of February all students are provided with registration information for the next school year. Approximately one week after the information is received and taken home, the students are asked to register for the courses they wish to take by entering their selections electronically in Infinite Campus. The administration and staff compile the information to determine the number of sections and courses to be offered based on student request and available space. Using computers, courses are then offered at times that best fit the needs of the students and the school schedule.

New Student Registration
Students registering for enrollment at Duluth East High School need to observe the following process:
- Call for an appointment with a counselor
- A parent/guardian must accompany the student
- Bring a copy of a transcript from the previous school. Transfer grades are necessary when registering during the middle of the year.
