New At East:
School Forest Outdoor Classroom

The Duluth East School Forest Outdoor Classroom is ready to go! Conservation Corps crew completed installation of the outdoor classroom seating, many thanks to the crew and the DNR School Forest Program.
Students will use leftover boulder to stabilize trails and move class 5 gravel to improve footing along the trail and slopes. The students have a lot of work to do, but these projects are part of what we started last fall creating a trail from the Lakewalk to the eagle's nest.

Free College Application Opportunities for Minnesota Colleges

As Minnesota high school students think about applying to college, application fees should not be a barrier. Some Minnesota colleges and universities do not charge application fees or they don’t charge fees at certain times of the year. Please open the link provided to learn of the various fee "forgiveness" opportunities at the various institutions
