FAFSA Application is Available
The federal government has moved up the date that parents and seniors can start filling out their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application in order to know sooner what aid will be available for college next year. Parents and students must go to fafsa.ed.gov to create an electronic signature (called an FSA ID; one for student, one for a parent) before starting the application. The earlier the FAFSA is completed, the earlier the families will know what financial aid will be offered by the colleges. Some colleges will have a priority submission deadline of Novermber 1 to be eligible for institutional scholarships. GET STARTED NOW!
NEW this year: the FAFSA can be completed using the student and parent's 2015 Income tax statements!
